The security bloc of our state continues active interaction with society in protecting wildlife! Perhaps, step by step, we will push out the lobbyists destroying the natural heritage of our Motherland before they ruin everything for their selfish interests.
Let me remind you that the Prosecutor’s Office has taken our side in defending the Lago-Naki Plateau, which officials have been trying to tear apart for several years. Now society together with the security bloc is trying to stop this madness — and the first results are already appearing.
Our people, defenders of the protected Lago-Naki, contacted me:
“The prosecutors of Adygea continue to please us. The company LLC ‘Montazh’ (belonging to the family of former mayor of Maykop, previously convicted under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, A. Getmanov) received in 2021 a fat piece of federal funds — 2 billion rubles — for the construction of water supply and sewage systems for the ‘Lagonaki’ scam. After signing the state contract, in violation of Russian procurement legislation, the state institution ‘Stroyzakazchik’ of RA concluded a number of additional agreements with LLC ‘Montazh’. As a result, an advance payment of 545 million rubles was unjustifiably paid from the budget. The Prosecutor’s Office noted: ‘Such actions were clearly aimed at eliminating competition and preventing other interested parties from participating in the procurement procedure.’”
The Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit in the Arbitration Court of Adygea challenging the illegality of such manipulations and demanding the return of funds to the budget. However, Adygea judge E.A. Parasyuk refused to satisfy the claim (we hope that the current high-profile corruption case against former Supreme Court judge A. Trakhov will help return Adygea judges to the side of law and state interests).
In addition, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Adygea, A. Kerashev, issued an anti-federal Order allowing for changes to the essential terms of the contract in violation of antitrust legislation. And the ‘Montazh’ people even brought receipts to court claiming that they had already spent the entire advance, so there was allegedly nothing to return.
The prosecutors appealed the decision of the Adygea judge to the 15th Arbitration Court of Appeal in Rostov-on-Don. The court ruled — to return 545.5 million rubles of the advance to the budget, as well as 48.3 million rubles as interest for unlawful use of public funds. It also declared the anti-federal Order of the Cabinet invalid — it did not pass.
According to the contract, by December of this year LLC ‘Montazh’ must lay both water supply and sewage pipelines, i.e., two pipes. However, for two years we observed only one pipe (54 km) being buried. And recently the ‘Montazh’ people, for some reason, decided not to steal the second one and delivered sewage blocks for installation three months before the object’s deadline.”
These are the events! And you can immediately imagine, allies, the real scale of “selfish interests” around the destruction of the protected system of our Motherland. If they push through the capture of the Lago-Naki Plateau, they will be able to launder tens of billions of rubles from the state budget, tear apart the protected land, and take the money offshore. Naturally, they will leave nothing behind.

At the moment, the struggle is heating up. It is pleasing to see that for the first time in many years the country’s security bloc has sided with society! Moreover, within the state system the course is shifting — justice and truth, which had long been hidden, are beginning to prevail. The entire system of governance had been latent to this crime, with all departments and subordinate organizations covering each other.
Here I want to quote an excerpt from the publication of our allies in the defense of Lago-Naki from December 4, 2024:
“Two months ago we reported on the felling of century-old fir and beech trees for water pipes and power lines for the ‘ECOresort Lagonaki’, as well as the discovery of Red Book lichens on the trunks of felled trees. After that, we wrote to the Investigative Committee and the General Prosecutor’s Office. After our appeals were pushed to the very bottom, we finally received responses from all agencies. In short:
⠀
– Adygea Forest Committee: no violations found;
– Police of Maykop District: no violations established;
– Prosecutor’s Office of Maykop District: no Red Book species found, but violations of forest legislation identified (logging during fire season, exceeding clearing limits, improper storage of felled timber, etc.) and a submission was issued to LLC ‘Montazh’;
– Rosprirodnadzor: Red Book species were present on the felled trees, but not under the Criminal Code, only the Administrative Code. A fine was issued to the contractor carrying out the work at this site.”
So, even then the regional Prosecutor’s Office tried to “resist” the lobbyists destroying Lago-Naki, but apparently the pressure from the other side was much stronger.
In general, my regular readers know that in our country there is an internal “struggle of forces” within the system. One side I call “imperials” — primarily the security bloc of the state, those people who are trying to make the country better and stronger! And they plan to live here. On the other side are the structures controlling the financial bloc of the country — numerous influential groups that do nothing but divide the state budget among themselves. And they engage in the kind of banditry we see around the Lago-Naki Plateau.
So, allies! The struggle continues. Our people — right there, on the ground — are defending a UNESCO World Heritage site, the protected Lago-Naki Plateau. The security bloc is involved, and together with society is now pressing the lobbying structures.
The situation is still difficult, but undoubtedly there are positive movements. I repeat: if we defend the Lago-Naki Plateau, we will create a precedent that will allow us to defend and strengthen the ENTIRE PROTECTED SYSTEM OF THE COUNTRY.
Therefore, it is extremely important now to spread information, not to be afraid to speak the truth, and to continue our struggle!

I want to support!Concept of TFET
The world is going through the sixth mass extinction of species; in just the last 50 years, humans have destroyed about 73% of all animals on the planet. We are experiencing a real environmental collapse on a planetary scale. It is urgently necessary to establish Territories of Full Ecological Tranquility (TFET) — we are trying to achieve a complete overhaul of the existing protected areas system.
