Artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving worldwide. A few years ago, AI algorithms resembled a kind of "machine calculator," but today, it is truly a thinking machine with access to all global data and information! Everything that humans have gathered through research and experience over thousands of years is now processed by AI in seconds.
In our country, Russia, this is barely noticeable—due to sanctions and various "global restrictions," we are stagnating or perhaps even regressing. That is why we are not included in the global race in advance, and many people find it difficult to imagine the power of artificial intelligence! Consequently, this creates cognitive distortions in society.
But the reality is that the development of artificial intelligence threatens humanity. Worldwide! And this threat is real. People are not being paranoid, and this is not some "conspiracy theory."
Let me try to explain.
The development of AI itself is incredibly powerful and will accelerate evolutionary progress as fast as possible. Moreover, neural network algorithms can quickly identify problems, analyze massive amounts of data, and perform tasks that were previously inaccessible to humans.
Before AI, the primary driving force was humanity itself. The more people exist, the higher the chances of a "defect" appearing—an individual capable of driving progress and evolution. Only a few actually create something new! The rest, the overwhelming majority, form the general infrastructure and piece together information about the world around us. With the advent of the Internet, this information became "digitized," and today, it is successfully used for the creation and training of artificial intelligence.
Some may not realize it yet, but AI can already create full-fledged songs—including music and vocals—in just 10–15 minutes. It can generate realistic photographs, and services for creating "live videos" have emerged! You’ve probably heard of deepfakes (where a person’s appearance is copied). This is no longer a secret.
At the moment, it is still possible to distinguish AI-generated songs, music, and texts from originals. But how much time will it take before that becomes impossible? Right now, all the world’s transnational corporations, especially social media owners, are building "meta-worlds"—and rest assured, they are succeeding and will continue to succeed!
Soon, there will be no need for full-time scientists with their human weaknesses, as artificial intelligence will create genuinely new technologies, discoveries, and achievements.
DOES AI THREATEN HUMANITY?
I wrote before and will repeat: artificial intelligence is powerful, exciting, and necessary! But the real question is, who owns it, and who will "judge" its actions?
Global automation and digitalization, with highly advanced AI at the control center, is not just about "new technologies," as some might think. It is not just "oh, it's like the Internet, no big deal." This is a tectonic shift—one that will, in the next 10–20 years, completely destroy the old societal model, which, by the way, is based on mass labor. Where every person is tightly woven into the existing capitalist economic model.
The truth is that the overwhelming majority of society is already obsolete in terms of education and usefulness in this world. People have spent years mastering professions that have no real value! All because their work is REPETITIVE and, therefore, fully automatable. Generally, people are unprepared for the speed of change—for the era we are now entering.
Stop and think: what is your profession? Can AI and related technologies, including industrial automation, replace it?
Realistically, I see a 10–20-year horizon: in the future, only a handful of specialists will be needed—those who can manage and maintain technology. The competition will no longer be between countries but between individuals who can integrate into the system—except the system won’t need most of them.
I can clearly see that social chaos is becoming inevitable. Very soon, unemployment will become the norm, and outdated generations, especially those unable to integrate into the new world, will inevitably depend on a small number of people (their children) or the state! Not for work, but for basic survival.
Governments, naturally (economists will understand), will attempt to introduce a universal basic income and modify the economic model. But at best, this will only slow down the global system—it will not stop the overall decline.
That means this is not just an "economic revolution." This is a BIOLOGICAL AND COGNITIVE REVOLUTION, where the winners will not necessarily be the strongest or the smartest, but the most adaptable.
Simply put, if a person does not learn new things, they are out of the "race for the future." If they do not master new technologies (our country is already falling behind in this regard), they become irrelevant. And if a person thinks in rigid patterns and lives in cognitive distortions, they are doomed to lose to AI and be instantly replaced.
THE NEW ORDER
I see what governments and transnational corporations are doing. They are leading the world toward a global transition to a post-labor model, where, in reality, 90% of the planet’s population will become entirely dependent on the elite, who will control the technologies.
You can deny this all you want, but the most adaptable people, recognizing these processes, will have a greater chance of escaping from the "biological mass" that will simply not be able to compete.
The old world—after industrialization—is a familiar societal institution built on labor and mass population! That is, factories exist, machines exist, accountants and administrators exist. Government agencies employ people, secretaries, and various local officials. Each person has their own separate place!
Well, AI and technical automation are destroying all of this. The need for massive numbers of workers is already disappearing! This is exactly what I’m talking about: the formation of a post-labor society, where all resources, technology, and power will be concentrated in the hands of the elite, while the rest of the "biological mass" will be practically useless.
In the old, familiar world, population growth was beneficial. There was a massive workforce that fueled industrial growth! The entire economy, the capitalist system, depended (and still depends, for now) on the constant expansion of consumption.
People studied, got jobs, found their place in the "social structure," creating what is called "surplus value." And human labor was irreplaceable, requiring intelligent people capable of performing tasks related to education, knowledge transfer, and engineering.
But today, this seemingly "stable system" is collapsing entirely. Every government and multinational corporation understands this!
For the first time in our history, we are facing a situation where a large population is no longer needed. And ecosystems have long been destroyed, as we constantly discuss!
What will happen next? I will think it through and later publish a second part of this material, offering a real solution that benefits everyone!
