Why do we need expeditions and what do we want to do?
We will not be able to do everything ourselves, but we are capable of laying the foundation of the future protected area system of the world. Below is a brief explanation of the purpose, method, and future results of the expedition research work.
What is beginning?
A very long expedition research endeavor that will be carried out entirely on our own: without advertising, funding, without any politics, and certainly without lobbying anyone's interests. I am set to visit completely different regions of the world in order to study the existing protected area system and attempt on my own to determine the boundaries of future Territories of Complete Ecological Peace (TCEP). I want to achieve a change in the nature protection system throughout the world, in order to stop the ongoing extinction of species on the planet and ecological collapse.
How long will it last?
The expedition starts on June 10, 2026, I will be on the road for three years and plan to return around 2030. Dates may change due to the political situation in the world. We face a nomadic way of life and constant research work all this time. I may still be underestimating the scale and complexity of this Mission, so we prepare in advance for changes and the need to extend the time frame.
What do we already have?
We have launched the Concept of Territories of Complete Ecological Peace, which is backed by scientific justifications and proposes a radical change to the entire existing protected area system. We have also launched a separate project that unites people in the protection of nature! Permanent infrastructure has been deployed on the website, including: an interactive map of future TCEPs, a section with proposal projects for governments, a Manifesto, and a mobile application that will serve as an independent expedition headquarters. Separate public outreach is being conducted on social media in an attempt to unite millions of people in the fight for Life.
What is planned in the expedition?
I am interested in the possibility of creating TCEPs in different regions of the world, but each region differs in politics, culture, population size, and social issues. I know that changing the protected area system starting from large states is very difficult — this precedent must begin with the smaller countries of the world. Therefore I plan to study isolated protected areas in different regions of the world and the human pressure on them, and then, taking into account regional characteristics, attempt to propose possible TCEP boundaries and ecological corridors linking them together.
What will be the result?
An interactive map of future TCEPs, field materials, research notes, photographs, observations, and draft proposals for the creation of territories of complete ecological peace. After which each project will be published in a dedicated section on my official website and will become the core of future public campaigns to promote the necessity of changing the protected area system.
