Comrades! A month and a half ago, we launched our platform for wildlife protection, 'EcoSevero'. We are currently in debugging mode: identifying problems, refining functionality, bringing people together! We have already achieved two victories, stopping the adoption of a bill recognizing animals as harmful to agriculture and hunters, as well as a bill authorizing the shooting of sleeping bears in dens.
Through the efforts of the entire environmental community of Russia, we are able to defend the right of wildlife to live!
In the coming months, we will develop our new project, integrate new features, centralize the efforts of society. Consolidate the efforts of all who truly want to advocate for nature and change our world for the better!
TRANQUILITY ZONES

We have studied a vast number of scientific studies from around the world for a long time to understand how society should proceed in the future. What needs to be done to influence global issues?
The EcoSevero project will help solve targeted problems, unite social efforts, and achieve local changes. But there are so many ecological problems that global one-time changes are needed at the legislative level!
Where to start? What should the State do to preserve the lives of wild animal populations and their habitats? And at the same time ensure the ecological safety of our country's residents?
While the EcoSevero project team will engage in uniting people and solving targeted problems, I want to launch a separate large project on creating territories of complete ecological tranquility in Russia. Based on the studied scientific research, summarizing the experience of international and our domestic experts, we begin the creation of a concept for designating global zones of wildlife tranquility.
This is necessary to preserve the last remaining areas of ancient forests, prevent the sixth mass extinction of living species on the planet due to human activity, mitigate the effects of climate change, and protect us and our children!
Within the project concerning the need to create territories of complete ecological tranquility in Russia, a petition will be launched on the 'EcoSevero' platform, a series of public events will be held, and materials on scientific research by scientists with a strong evidence base will be prepared.
We will prepare a concept document for the Government of the Russian Federation, try to get reviews from Russian experts in the field of wildlife protection to attach to our document. After that, we will begin systematic work not only within society but also through our allies within the state system.
This project will take a tremendous amount of time! Despite numerous scientific data, instant changes will not happen. I will contact the authors of international studies, talk with them, and enlist their support as well.
We need strength, time, and resources for the struggle. And also the support of the entire society.
By the beginning of August, we will prepare a unified concept and launch the work. This will be the center of all our activities, the most important task, the solution of which will allow us to influence all global environmental problems.

The destruction of nature has become planetary in scale: over the past 50 years, wildlife populations have declined by 73%, forests are being cut down, rivers are polluted, and ecosystems are degrading. The last remaining nature reserves are isolated and increasingly under pressure from states and corporations. To stop this crisis, the global protected-area system must be urgently changed. We propose a concrete plan — the Territories of Full Ecological Tranquility (TFET) — and are setting out on expeditions to develop their future boundaries.
