Recent studies show that plants, trees, feel pain and can transmit signals through mycorrhizal connections! They can communicate with each other. Scientists have also recorded the sounds of plants, the noises they make when they are harmed, broken, or eaten. I have published about this. Humans cannot hear the sounds plants make, but other plants, insects, and animals can.
The world we are so rapidly destroying is a complex living organism, about which humanity knows almost nothing yet! If until recently people said, "Plants don't feel pain," trying to compare their sensations with our own feelings, now scientists say: they do feel pain, and how! It’s just that plants are a completely different form of life, their life processes and their role in Earth's biosphere are different from ours. Plants feel pain through electrical impulses!
So, what does this mean?
Plants feel pain. They can communicate, transmitting signals to one another. They experience horror and fear (recent scientific studies). And these discoveries are only being made now: we are just beginning to understand the living world around us, like clumsy children.
A world that has almost been devoured by humans.
In our world, everything is created so that we live in a cycle of energy exchange! Every living being, be it an animal, insect, or plant, gives and receives energy. One life creates another.
Many plants produce fruits that spread through the stomachs of animals that consume them. They biologically continue their cycle of reproduction through energy exchange: offering their fruit to animals in exchange for spreading their seeds.
Biologically, tigers, wolves, and bears hunt for their food. But always fulfilling specific, nature-assigned functions. Wolves hunt weak, sick animals, thus eliminating bad genes from the populations and keeping them healthy. In fact, on the scale of the biosphere, this is a complete analogy to the immune system of our own body: some cells carry vital substances, others fight diseases, while still others form strong immunity or act as indicators of the body's condition.
And animals in Earth's biosphere fulfill these functions too, being irreplaceable and necessary in the wild. When a wolf kills a deer, it is a necessary process laid out by nature! A deer eats grass, a hare gnaws on roots, a woodpecker pulls insects from under the bark of trees.
These are the processes that support the health of biological systems! These are processes set by Mother Nature, and each of us is assigned vital functions and boundaries that we must not cross.
INVASIVE SPECIES
In nature, there are invasive species. Healthy ecosystems, with the help of animals that are part of the immune system, identify and suppress alien species! They suppress diseases or other animals that should not exist in a particular biological system.
But what can nature do if the biosphere is destroyed, and ecosystems have lost their immunity?
Humans have become the most dangerous invasive species on the planet. They shield themselves in concrete urban agglomerations and only venture into nature to complete the destruction of its immune system.
A living example that I constantly mention: the extermination of wolves! Worldwide, everyone is collectively committing genocide against the wildlife's protectors. In our country, wolves can be killed by any means: shooting pups, using torture devices, killing them from helicopters. Moreover, the authorities encourage this, paying bounties of up to 50,000 rubles for each wolf killed. If you shoot a pack of 6 wolves, you get 300,000 rubles in cash and praise from society and the state! Local newspapers will even write, "A hero saved people from evil wolves."
This is how the immune system of wildlife is completely destroyed. And, like a real disease, we are incapable of giving a sober assessment of what is happening.
Yes, there are people, defenders of nature, who understand and can feel the pain of Earth! But are you sure this isn't an anomaly? That we aren’t just a defect of "human disease"? A flaw, a breach in its sole purpose: to parasitize and destroy Life.
I sincerely believe that we are not a defect, but rather healthy cells capable of healing the entire living organism of Humanity. That with us, global changes can begin, reawakening humanity’s connection with Nature, turning us from a disease back into a part of Earth's biosphere's immune system.
We can still stop everything. Right now, we still have those opportunities! But we need to act immediately, urgently, awakening people with all our strength: every person matters, and every one we awaken becomes part of a healthy immune system.
LIFE'S ENERGY
Everything around us is alive. Everything feels pain, even if we don't understand it! Everything has its own energy. The question is not "to eat or not to eat," the question is not to destroy the living world around us!
People ask me, "If plants are alive, how can we eat them?" I also hear, "Fish don’t scream, so they don’t feel pain! That’s why I eat fish."
Our world is entirely alive! Everything around us is endowed with senses, emotions, and its own magic: the magic of speaking, the magic of love, the magic of self-awareness.
Recently, I wrote that scientists have proven this year: bumblebees have logical thinking! It’s proven! And yet logical thinking was once considered a distinctive feature of human consciousness.
I believe in the coming years we’ll see more such studies, more discoveries, and we will begin to understand the living world around us in a completely new way.
So, should we stop eating altogether to avoid causing pain?
Pain is an indicator that helps identify problems in populations, build immunity, defend, and evolve. We feel pain in our way, and, for example, plants feel it differently; they are literally shocked by the pain! Everything alive on Earth is endowed with this gift.
If a living organism is a different form of life and unlike us, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t feel pain, possess emotions, or want to live.
It’s impossible to live without exchanging energy, just as it’s impossible to take energy without giving something back!
We, as humans, must remember a simple rule: take from nature only what is necessary, only as much as you truly need! And try to give back tenfold.
If the majority of people on Earth live by this rule, we will witness global changes, the restoration of lost ecosystems, and the revival of the biosphere. We will see the world through completely different eyes, with a different understanding, a true realization.
When exchanging energy, give back to nature! If you’ve taken excessively, you’ve taken energy from those who needed it. If you haven’t given back, you’ve deprived those who should have received energy from you.
Wolves kill deer! Wolves heal nature, keeping populations strong, preventing the spread of disease. Wolves make other species genetically and physically stronger.
Hunters, killing for sport, exterminate the strongest individuals, seeking the best trophy. And at the same time, they kill wolves, completely suppressing nature's immune system.
And they say to us, "Well, we are like wolves too; we kill deer." They don't see the difference! They don't even remotely understand how nature works and how important it is to maintain balance.
The wolf protects nature!
The bear keeps balance.
Every small bird, every insect, every animal is part of the unified rhythm of Life.
And what do you do?
What’s your role in these rhythms?
Think about it.

The destruction of nature has become planetary in scale: over the past 50 years, wildlife populations have declined by 73%, forests are being cut down, rivers are polluted, and ecosystems are degrading. The last remaining nature reserves are isolated and increasingly under pressure from states and corporations. To stop this crisis, the global protected-area system must be urgently changed. We propose a concrete plan — the Territories of Full Ecological Tranquility (TFET) — and are setting out on expeditions to develop their future boundaries.
