Kamchatka needs to be declared a territory of complete ecological tranquility

Recently, I published the Concept of Territories of Complete Ecological Tranquility (TCET). This Concept will be refined and supplemented by reviews from expert scientists. The main idea is that it is no longer possible to stop the ongoing destruction of ecosystems and the extermination of animals by solving local problems. The remaining mosaic patches of protected areas are not coping with the task of preserving flora and fauna! Moreover, people continue to interfere in these reserves, and laws are currently being passed to 'develop' the last refuges of wildlife.

The only real way to save ecosystems is to isolate them from humans. The current mosaic fragments of wild nature, reserves, must be urgently combined into global conglomerates under a special FEDERAL status. Economic exploitation of these territories must be completely excluded to allow nature to recover and create 'recovery points' in case of global catastrophes on the planet.

Today, I want to provide an example of creating a territory of complete ecological tranquility in Kamchatka. This is detailed in my Concept, but I believe it is worth briefly reviewing the region and discussing its potential for protection.

Here’s the situation.

Kamchatka is home to only a few hundred thousand people, more than half of whom live in the regional capital. This is a very wild, pristine corner that, from a scientific point of view, is a refuge where populations of endangered animals and plants can recover.

Here:

• There are very few people;

• There is no global industrial development;

• The remote mountainous terrain supports a high level of biological diversity;

• The washing by oceanic waters helps protect marine coastal species.

There are very few regions like this left in the world—almost everywhere people have long 'developed' the territory. Wildlife has nowhere to hide from the destructive activities of humans!

Therefore, I believe that the Kamchatka region is ideally suited for creating a territory of complete ecological tranquility (TCET). Implementing such a project could become one of the most effective global practices for protecting the Earth's biosphere.

Moreover, it would be economically beneficial for local residents. The federal government should ensure the retraining of the local population and provide jobs in the buffer zone of the Kamchatka TCET. A special zone for eco-tourism should be organized, and the state should support businesses related to organic farming and eco-friendly products. Products branded under the Kamchatka TCET can be marketed not only within the country but also abroad.

Young men can undergo compulsory forest service with subsequent guaranteed employment in local forestry instead of military service. Recent school graduates should be provided with free places for training in the necessary specialties. Real estate in such places will become very expensive, and people will live near a global territory of complete ecological tranquility of worldwide biospheric significance.

Local residents will be able to become part of a new economic model, providing themselves and their children with healthy food, clean air, and water while participating in the protection of the Earth's biosphere.

What could be more important? Just think about the scale of the possibilities! I understand this is long and hard work, but it is necessary. It is important not only for the state but for the entire world.

It is from Kamchatka that the implementation of the Concept of Territories of Complete Ecological Tranquility (TCET) could begin. It is enough to create the model once, then integrate it into different regions of the world to prevent the conflict between Humanity and the Biosphere.

This fully fits into the concept of the noosphere proposed by the Great Russian scientist Vladimir Ivanovich Vernadsky, who spoke about the future of humanity, where rational activity becomes the basis for the development of the biosphere.

For those who don't know, Vladimir Vernadsky is the greatest Russian thinker, the founder of geochemistry, biochemistry, and radiology. He laid the foundations for understanding biological systems and saw the noosphere as the next phase in the evolution of the biosphere, where humanity realizes its responsibility for the planet.

Now imagine: Kamchatka is declared a territory of complete ecological tranquility (TCET), a buffer zone is created, the economic model is changed, and this provides local residents with jobs and income without destroying wildlife.

On Reality.

Unfortunately, only a few think on such a scale. Today, the refuge of the Kamchatka region is exploited by humans. International hunting tourism is actively developing here!

For our Concept, maps of the Kamchatka region were prepared, showing the scale of exploitation.

Look at the map: it shows the boundaries of the protected areas of Kamchatka.

Now look at another map showing hunting grounds surrounding the protected areas.

Most of these grounds are private, leased for 'sport hunting'. Hunters from all over the world, including the USA and Europe, come to Kamchatka.

Previously, people went to Africa for trophies, but serious problems have arisen there: population declines, climate anomalies, diseases, and armed conflicts. Today many prefer to avoid Africa, fearing diseases, and choose Russia. Kamchatka is leading the race to attract foreign hunters.

Every year, the number of quotas for animal shooting increases here, and the authorities of Kamchatka actively support this industry.

We had a scandal with the authorities when they lifted the limits on wolf hunting. At that time, they claimed that there were fewer than 200 individuals in the region! A bounty of several hundred dollars was set for each killed wolf, encouraging the killings.

Look at the map for the creation of the Kamchatka refuge—a territory of complete ecological tranquility (TCET).

This is difficult but necessary. Today, there are no other possibilities for protecting the biosphere: only the creation of global TCET zones, refuges for wildlife from humans.

Current administrators of power do not want changes and think in terms of the past. If we do not change this, we will destroy ourselves and our future generations.

I urge all our comrades to sit down and calmly reflect on what has been said. Are we talking about the right things? If Kamchatka becomes a TCET tomorrow, will it change the world's attitude towards Earth?

It's time to act.

We have no more time!
