Billions of Masks After the Pandemic Are Killing Earth's Biosphere

The COVID-19 pandemic has ended. People are only starting to recover, and I still hear questions on the streets like, 'What was that all about?'. The whole world was racing to create vaccines, people were forced to get shots, and those who wrote anything against pandemic restrictions were harshly punished. In some places, they were 'handled' with batons, in others, they were sent to prison or faced huge fines.

And now the pandemic is over.

As if nothing happened!

But the consequences remain with us for a very long time.

The pandemic has taken the lives of many people and continues to do so. Right now, heavy legal battles are ongoing in many countries worldwide, with thousands of people suing and seeking compensation for post-vaccination consequences. For example, by August 2024, there were known to be at least 14,000 lawsuits in the United Kingdom from citizens who became disabled after forced COVID-19 vaccination.

This is openly discussed in all media. However, amidst other 'global events', it concerns very few.

These lawsuits are not about the consequences of COVID-19 but about forced vaccination: when people were compelled by 'voluntold' methods to receive multiple vaccine doses. Now, people are dying from severe diseases, many have become disabled, and will die in the coming years! There are cases of thrombosis, vascular system disorders, strokes, spinal cord inflammation, and other serious issues. These problems inevitably lead to mass deaths in the future.

However, the cause of death will not be listed as 'due to vaccination', but 'due to thrombosis' or 'heart failure'.

But this is the visible part of the pandemic's aftermath. It's what many talk about!

What about other issues?

The most catastrophic blow came as a result of wearing masks. For people, it's simple: medical masks, when worn around the clock, restrict breathing and contaminate the body with microplastics. After the pandemic, scientists identified a new disease: plasticosis. Microplastic particles were found in our blood, organs, and even in the placenta of unborn children.

This is being identified only now. The issue is that medical masks are made from synthetic polymer fiber! And there are various materials, a whole spectrum of them. During the COVID-19 pandemic, hundreds of billions of masks were needed. Big business profited immensely, cutting production costs and manufacturing masks non-stop.

As a result, people breathed dangerous microplastics around the clock, which enter our bodies and later provoke serious consequences: chronic diseases, thrombosis, and early death.

These are proven scientific facts!

WHAT ABOUT NATURE?

And if we talk about people, and indeed this concerns us, then it's generally not customary to talk about living nature.

According to the American Chemical Society, by 2021, over 129 billion disposable masks were used annually worldwide. These are approximate estimates! A colossal number of masks have polluted rivers and oceans, infiltrating all ecosystems.

The main difference between medical masks and other plastic waste is that masks break down into polymers right before our eyes! Each mask disintegrates into billions of microparticles, which are spread by wind and water, reaching even the most remote corners of the wild nature globally.

Scientists say the consequences of mask usage will stay with us for hundreds of years! And the real environmental damage, the true scale of the catastrophe, will not be immediately visible.

To prepare this material and rely only on real data, I studied a massive number of scientific studies. One such work is titled 'Tracking the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic-related litter on wildlife using digital platforms', published on November 20, 2022.

One of the co-authors of the scientific paper was Dr. Alex Bond, the principal curator of the bird museum. I want to quote him:

'Since there were restrictions on non-essential items' movement in many regions of the world, we will never know the true scale of the problem, but this study gives us an idea of the vast diversity of species affected.'

'We filter out most of the trash in our environment, as they are examples such as crisp packets or cigarette butts that we've seen for years or decades <…> When personal protective equipment flooded our waste management systems in the early days of the pandemic, it was much more noticeable because it was something new. Now we don't even flinch when we see a blue face mask on the ground. It has quickly become part of our everyday waste management experience in the environment.'

There you go! Experts investigating the issue of medical masks polluting ecosystems worldwide explicitly state that the real scale—we can't even estimate it. And the scariest part is that for everyone, it has become just normal!

During the pandemic, the market value of masks grew on average by 200 times! Imagine the scale of commercial interests of large businesses. Just from March to October 2020, the mandatory wearing of medical masks worldwide resulted in masks accounting for about 1% of all disposed trash worldwide! In some regions, this figure is much higher. For instance, in the UK, 5% of all trash over the year consisted of medical masks.

WHICH IMMEDIATELY BREAK DOWN INTO FIBER, TRIGGERING UNCONTROLLED MICROPLASTIC POLLUTION OF THE EARTH'S BIOSPHERE

Scientists now record mass deaths of animals not only in a chronic form when animals are infected with microplastic but also from large fragments of debris. Particularly affected have been river and marine ecosystems, and birds worldwide have been impacted as well.

In the scientific work I mentioned earlier, specialists compiled all evidence of the danger medical masks pose to ecosystems. Data from published and UNPUBLISHED scientific reports were used, all public research platforms were studied, social media data was collected, and even personal witness testimonies were gathered. All information was combined and analyzed by global scientists.

Many studies in this area are just starting. Experts agree that it takes on average about 450 years for one mask to decompose! But these wastes will be almost impossible to remove from the wild because, unlike other trash, masks literally disintegrate into microscopic particles right before our eyes.

I also studied another scientific research titled 'The effects of COVID-19 litter on animal life'. This work is by biologists Anke-Florian Himstra and Lieselotte Rambonne. The specialists collected evidence of animal deaths from Brazil to Malaysia, covering regions in different parts of the world to assess the consequences of pollution.

Their data shows that ALL TYPES OF WILD ANIMALS WORLDWIDE ARE SUFFERING FROM FACE MASKS. Monkeys were found chewing masks, and penguins had masks in their stomachs. Birds build nests using post-pandemic plastic waste! And all this gradually kills living nature.

CONCLUSION

The one pandemic wave we survived multiplied the already critical pollution of Earth's Biosphere. But it's not just nature that is dying; we are too! Our children. And our grandchildren and their children will have to deal with all the consequences of what we have caused. It is they who will face the REAL CONSEQUENCES.

I have already written in my materials that the ecosystem destruction we see now was provoked by human actions decades ago. And the things we are doing to nature today will result in irreversible catastrophes in another ten to twenty years. This all has a cumulative effect!

The biosphere is strong; it adapts, tries to resist humans. It tries to survive! But it's not easy for it because the pressure does not stop. And we are now witnessing a severe chronic disease of Earth's Biosphere, its depressed immune system, which every day becomes less able to protect itself.

We just forget that this is our HABITAT.

Global Mission

The destruction of nature has become planetary in scale: over the past 50 years, wildlife populations have declined by 73%, forests are being cut down, rivers are polluted, and ecosystems are degrading. The last remaining nature reserves are isolated and increasingly under pressure from states and corporations. To stop this crisis, the global protected-area system must be urgently changed. We propose a concrete plan — the Territories of Full Ecological Tranquility (TFET) — and are setting out on expeditions to develop their future boundaries.
