I don’t like it when people are lied to. Especially in the context of global issues that need to be prepared for in advance — both at the state level and by society!
January 1, 2025, I published the article “What natural disasters await us in 2025?” In it, I discussed those global anomalies that may occur in the near future, based on the real situation in the world.
Also, I mentioned how on the eve of the New Year all the federal media began spreading news quoting the “Supreme Shaman of Russia,” who promised that there would be no environmental problems and that we are expecting a bountiful harvest.
Such a “gift-wrapped lie” during the holiday for society — as if there’s no need to think about problems!
And now a month has passed since the beginning of the year. New scientific assessments have emerged about what awaits us this year. And the situation fully repeats what I talked about.
It should be immediately noted that 2025 may become the hottest year in the entire history of meteorological observations. Both experts and representatives of international organizations claim this.
Let me quote the UN Secretary-General:
“The coming year promises to be the hottest in history. In some countries, temperatures have been recorded that exceed the limits of human endurance. And all over the world we have witnessed record rains and hurricanes, fires, and deadly droughts,” said António Guterres at the 29th session of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP-29) in Baku.
Our domestic experts disagree with these data. They believe that 2025 will not be the hottest year, but it will definitely make the list of “record-breakers.”
“Several forecasts indicated that this year would be among the top three to five hottest. One forecast even suggested it could take second place,” says Roman Vilfand, head of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.
Accordingly, a “hot year” primarily means abnormal forest fires, lower water table levels, and the drying up of rivers. It also means a shortage of food sources, as a result of which even more animals will leave the wild to approach people in search of food next winter.
In addition, it guarantees an increase in the treatment of agricultural fields with millions of tons of pesticides — to preserve the harvest and profit.
On February 3, a report was published by the Federal Rosselkhoz Center under the Ministry of Agriculture. It states that 21 regions of Russia are expected to face a locust invasion this year due to an overly mild winter. It is also predicted that there will be 30–50% more agricultural pests and various plant diseases (catastrophic figures!), threatening the harvest.
Regions where a locust invasion is expected have been identified: Astrakhan, Vologda, Orenburg, Samara, Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Chelyabinsk, Irkutsk, and Novosibirsk regions, as well as the republics of Kalmykia, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Chechnya, Bashkiria, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Khakassia, and Yakutia, along with Krasnodar, Stavropol, and Altai territories.
Even now, by order of the Ministry of Agriculture, more than 85 million rubles have been allocated to create special teams. A huge amount of pesticides is being procured.
It is worth noting that this is not only about locusts: an invasion of various other species is expected, which will also be “systematically” poisoned with chemicals.
“The Rosselkhoz Center conducts phytosanitary monitoring of locusts and other harmful organisms throughout the Russian Federation. A set of measures, including agrotechnical, biological, chemical, and other plant protection methods, is used to protect the harvest,” says Alexander Malko, director of FGBU “Rosselkhoznadzor.”
I studied the detailed information from this report. Experts provided their main comments to the Izvestia publication.
Quoting verbatim:
“At the same time, Alexander Malko noted that there would be other threats in some regions. For example, Voronezh, Kursk, Novosibirsk, Penza, Omsk, Volgograd, Belgorod, Kurgan, and Tyumen regions, as well as Tatarstan, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Altai, Stavropol, Krasnodar, Primorsky, and Krasnoyarsk territories fall into the risk zone for the meadow moth.
Another 18 regions will have to deal with rodent pests. These are Tambov, Rostov, Lipetsk, Volgograd, Belgorod, Voronezh, and Saratov regions. Also on this list are Ingushetia, North Ossetia—Alania, Kabardino-Balkaria, Adygea, Chechnya, DNR, Dagestan, Crimea, Kalmykia, and Krasnodar and Stavropol territories.
At a meeting in the Ministry of Agriculture, Alexander Malko reported that there are currently 1,182 harmful factors in Russia (529 pests, 219 diseases, 434 weeds), and any one of them can wipe out a harvest.”
Further in Izvestia:
“According to Tatyana Gubina, head of the apparatus of the Union of Potato and Vegetable Market Participants (Potato Union), the main concern is that the ground does not freeze, which would allow many parasites and dangerous bacteria to survive. This risk is primarily relevant for Central Russia, where most potatoes are grown, she noted.
— This year we will have to buy more pesticides, monitor the soil more often, and be more vigilant. It is also obvious that our expenses on plant protection chemicals will increase. Naturally, in the end, this may affect the cost of potatoes, — she noted.”
That is, not only pest and disease invasions are expected, but also a rise in food prices. Such an agenda is being formed in advance! So don’t be surprised if prices skyrocket even further by the fall.
LET’S SUM UP
We can currently rely on two factors confirmed by both international and Russian specialists:
Abnormal heat is expected, and it may possibly break the temperature record in the entire history of observations.
- An invasion of various pests, including locusts, is expected in 21 regions of Russia.
For several years in a row now, agricultural fields have been littered with the bodies of animals and birds, and insect populations (including pollinators, on which our agriculture depends) have been dying out en masse.
This year, as soon as the snow melts, fields will begin to be “fertilized” in preventive measures. Poisoned grain will also be scattered! Migratory birds returning from southern regions will land on these fields to rest and die from the poisons. The same fate awaits animals starving after winter, which will head for the fields. And then, through biological chains, there will be another mass die-off!
Moreover, as far as I know, fast-acting poisons in the fields have been replaced with slow-acting ones, so we will not see the real scale of the ecocide and may not even learn about it. Locally, data will surface, but on the whole, it will be concealed. Animals, after eating poisons, will go back into nature, where they will die from internal hemorrhages. Birds, for their part, will still manage to take off and reach distant areas, where they will also fall dead.
Therefore, the conclusions are obvious: another mass death of animals from poisons in the fields is expected this year, and the volume of pesticide use will only increase. Meanwhile, we face abnormal forest fires and a new wave of hunger for the inhabitants of the Russian taiga.
By next winter — once again, there will be a mass emergence of bears and tigers approaching humans, new conflicts, and calls to destroy them.
It is unfortunate that real problems are not being solved and that we can come up with nothing else but “sprinkling the soil with poison,” thereby intensifying the cascading destruction of the last remnants of wild nature year after year!
