Sending Appeals Against the Destruction of Protective Forests!

Officials in Russia plan to pass Bill No. 145734 legalizing clear-cutting of protective forests across the country! Instead of ancient forests of the most critically important PROTECTIVE category, ski resorts will be built. Officials also plan to transfer land from the state forest fund to other categories for development in the interest of businesses.

Ski resorts will be built in mountainous refuges of wildlife, meaning the last remaining areas of untouched nature where ecosystems can seek shelter from human influence! At the start of the bill's introduction, the figures for "global development" were announced: over 260 resort projects worth more than 300 billion rubles. This only serves immediate interests, meaning that the bill will further allow the destruction of PROTECTIVE FORESTS with practically no limitations.

As part of Pavel Pashkov's projects, a public poll was conducted on a Telegram channel. 98% of respondents oppose the bill.

Russian society is categorically against the adoption of the bill for the clear-cutting of PROTECTIVE FORESTS in our country. These forests, of the utmost importance, must remain untouched! Downgrading their status is unacceptable.

The category of protective forests not only shields the last refuges of wildlife but also protects us and our children. Any "development" of specially protected natural areas is unacceptable and constitutes a crime against humanity, against each one of us, and against future generations.

We fully understand that officials and big business are dividing hundreds of billions of rubles, and their primary interest is not "developing" wildlife, but profiting from massive sums of money. This is a project for short-term profits, benefiting only a small handful of individuals lobbying for the bill.

ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY

We believe that the bill for the clear-cutting of PROTECTIVE FORESTS in wildlife mountain refuges violates our rights to environmental safety. Moreover, the bill not only threatens environmental safety but also the NATIONAL security of our State.

The clear-cutting of protective forests will lead to the destruction of ecosystems, the annihilation of animals and plants, and the creation of human pressure on wildlife refuges. This will result in further downgrading of their protection status for the sake of commercial "development" of minimally disturbed and untouched natural areas.

We demand that Bill No. 145734 be stopped. Help bring about change! Only real public outcry will prevent this bill from being considered. If it is passed, it will be PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to repeal it, and the destruction of PROTECTIVE FORESTS will begin across the country.
